What do you do when you get a quilt that is all square blocks with circles in the center?
You spiral them! That's what I did anyway...
The result was pretty dramatic.
If you look close you can see that the end of one spiral leads into the next spiral...
The key was lining them all up correctly.
Even the borders got a continuous curvy treatment...
Thanks to Donna H., one of my first paying customers, for a truly beautiful quilt!
I love this! Spirals are perfect :) You have an amazing eye for what will enhance the quilt and not compete with it. You are gifted!
ReplyDeleteSo Patty and I have examined these photos carefully and are amazed at your perfection. Your brain just works different than most people. This may be one of my favorites. (The YW quilt always coming in first). . . . .waiting for my grandkids to grow up and get married so I can start ordering from you. Wait--I should start now--doing the math.. . .my youngest is 10 months--23 years from now. . . .you could be dead. I'll call you.
ReplyDeleteFavorite so far. Love the spiral pattern!
